Free Chunky Scarf Crochet Pattern

Chunky Scarf is a great beginner pattern for a warm, oversized, chunky crochet scarf.

This fun plushy Scarf pattern has withstood the test of time, and are more popular now than ever.

Pictured is my actual first Chunky Scarf from 2001.

Since 2001, the pattern has been updated with new, fun, useful stitches!

These warm, bulky scarves use Tr Rows, that can be increased or decreased in amount, for your preferred size scarf.

While crocheting in my free time, I was learning new stitches from a stitch dictionary, and wanted a scarf. I got a little carried away with the soft plushy yarn, and before I knew it, the scarf was huge! I loved it, and made myself more, gifting some to others, and we still wear our chunky scarves to this day. I was so excited to finish this one in time to wear it while holding a balloon in the Annual Chuy's Children Giving to Children, Thanksgiving Parade, in Austin, Texas, it was the perfect warmth needed for that chilly, Fall morning walk.

Thank you for stopping by.
Best wishes, and happy crocheting!
