A little about the King/Queen American Flag Blanket Pattern; There are variations in the pattern for choice of stripes, and edging, as well as your choice to crochet or whip stitch join. This was a pattern very meaningful to me, and was what started the entire American Flag Boho Granny Pattern Collection.

The stitches had meaning to me as I made them, they represent man, woman and child, holding together, with the clusters being the Liberty Bell, joined again with everyone together in a chain, and hanging on with Justice being the foundation. The pattern includes other ways besides the diverse stitches to create different looks, giving the same versatility to the blanket pattern, as seen in other patterns included in this collection.

With the Traditional 50 stars and 13 stripes, the stars look like stars and are crocheted into the blanket rather than sewn on.

The blanket was inspired by my Dad, and my Mom, and LOVE OF AMERICA. My desire to crochet is inspired by my talented Mother and Grandmother. I thank them all! Without them, my life would not be possible and their love has always kept my heart warm. ♡

Father's Day Crochet Patterns 🧶🪝

Father's Day & Crochet may sound easy, but Father's are not the easiest to crochet for. Hats and scarves come to mind. Though I haven't done a survey on this, my first thought is always a scarf when crocheting for men. What do you think about when thinking about making something for Dad?

These past couple of years, with so many fun poker games going on in the WSOP and around the world, Poker theme really hit home with me. So I came up with the Magic Oval Placemat Pattern for a nice spot to sit your poker night snacks, or a practice mat for chip riffling, I found it very useful for chip riffling. 😅

The pattern is easily made smaller for little coaster size 'poker tables'.  With the Magic oval, you do not get the chain holes that you might get with a chain start. As well as just a fun and challenging pattern.

With the braided accent on the green, the placemats, to me they look like tiny poker tables.

Paired with the cute crochet Poker Charm Pattern that comes with the card bag pattern.
