Ms Blackerby and her never ending love for others....
Mama Blackie (short for Ms Blackerby) has always been a loving, caring cat for 17 years. The kind of cat that you do not normally think of cats being. She is honestly more like a dog than a cat in her loyalty. She respects others and remains close to home.
This Squirrel is sort of her friend. They sit together on hot days to beat the heat...
As well as the neighbor cat, a catch and release, stray black cat...
The raccoons she looks out for as well, making sure to leave this mama raccoon some of her cat food....
So when our morning started out with a Squirrel yelling at the stray black cat in the yard, it was a little unsettling. I automatically assumed the cat had done something to upset the squirrel. I also assumed Ms Blackie had nothing to do with it, which by the squirrels accounts is true. Her grudge only seems to be with the Black Cat....
I am putting Parts 1 through 5 for you all here. As this unfolds to a tragic end....
Part 3, and the innocents of Ms Blackie...
The squirrel was fine with me as well, but i did not know Blackie walked up on me at the end and the squirrel was not having it....
There is a music version of this... (to Cranberries 'Zombie' which seemed appropriate.) ...
Then Blackie decides to try out the nest.... lol! What, NO! Yes, she did, and she watched for the squirrel the whole time....
So peaceful in the country, i don't know about that... lol....
